At our core, the Happiness Foundation is all about looking for ways to make women and children of our community happy. This is especially true around the Christmas holidays. It’s hard for kids who don’t have much to be happy during the holidays when all the stories and things they say are about kids getting presents and they aren’t going to get much, if anything. So, when we heard about the police department in Lewisburg’s annual shopping event “Shop With A Cop”, for underprivileged kids, we wanted to be a part of it. Every year the police department there takes kids in need out on a special shopping trip. On this trip, the kids get to pick out presents on their own and are then treated to a special pizza party. You can imagine the smiles on their faces. It’s exactly the kind of great idea we can get behind. So, this year we donated to this heart-warming event. Thank you, Lewisburg police department – for the wonderful work you’re doing for these kids and for letting us be a part of it.
