According to Catholic Charities USA, almost half of Americans will experience poverty for a year or more at some point in their lives before they reach the age of sixty. Consequently, most of us will experience a time when we require a helping hand to give us hope for today, and for the future. Catholic Charities assist families with basic needs, counseling and pregnancy and adoption issues.

The Catholic Charities knew of a family in need who were not able to buy Christmas presents for their family. The Grand Johnson City store donated $585 to buy the family clothes and toys.
