Manna Ministries began in 1996 and is a non-profit organization that provides support for the working poor in the Roanoke Valley. Manna provides food boxes for an average of 850 families a month along with personal items, clothing, children’s books, and pet food. Grand employees have been volunteering several weeks loading the boxes of food and clothing into cars and help separating and distributing on Wednesday nights. The Grand Happiness Foundation was able to paint the waiting area and donate 6 leather sofas, 4 patio tables, 4 children’s recliners and a rug. Their waiting area was transformed into a welcoming space for the staff, volunteers & people they serve.
