Staunton River High School
The Staunton River High School special education classroom has created the High Needs Apartment Project Plan. The curriculum is based on life skills and community-based instruction taking core subject areas and applying those skills to real life situations that students may come in contact with outside of the classroom.
The Grand Happiness Foundation helped them by providing furniture for the program. The donation consisted of two love seats, two chairs, two end tables, two lamps and two pieces of wall décor. This will be a place where the students can sit and socialize as well as learn how to take care of their living space.
