Turning Point
When families facing domestic violence have no place to go, they turn to The Salvation Army Turning Point. At Roanoke’s only domestic violence shelter, women and children in abusive situations find safety and support — and a chance to rebuild their lives. Sixty women and children can seek shelter at Turning Point at one time.
The Grand Happiness Foundation was able to replace their worn 30-year old mattresses with 47 new mattresses and 33 bunkie boards and provided new mattress covers.
